Roomba question

We've had our Roomba for 2 years now.
As others have said, it's great for every day maintenance.
We have two cats, so it picks up quite a few dust bunnies and wads of hair.
You still need the regular vac, but less often.

Roomba is very entertaining watching it try to get out of a sticky situation.
I'm amazed at how many times I stand up to grab it and it finally gets itself unstuck before I get to it.
There is definitely some multi-level programming evident in the routines it displays.

That's the exercise option. It senses if you are near, and only if it knows you got up and are walking towards it does it get unstuck. It really knows how to...it's pretending to be stuck...only because you are in the room.

The AI is based on the "cat-in-tree" model.
