I've been looking for details on the IP-based network protocol that the DMS3.1 uses to transmit song metadata to the MCA-C5 but can't find it, and it's not documented in Russound's "Third Party Developer" documentation kit. (The Russound documentation really only covers 'client' interfaces, not 'source' interfaces.)
I'm interested in this info in hopes of feeding song metadata to the MCA-C5 via Ethernet instead of serial cable.
Would anyone happen to have looked at the network traffic between the DMS3.1 and an MCA-C5 and have either the protocol or a packet capture to share?
