Securing the phone/cable box

Can someone give advice on what type of magnets to use to secure the cable box and phone box on the side of my house? I would like to have it trip a zone if the box cover is opened.

Incidentally, with the ELK, is there a way to designate a zone as 24-hour coverage even when the system is not armed? for securing the above boxes.

Thats a good idea. I suppose using one of those rectangle looking window/door sensor would do the trick. You could probably get away with simply writing a rule that set the alarm off whenever that zone was violated.
