Security System phone line with PBX

Hello,

Let me explain what I have and what I'm trying to do

I currently have a HAI OMNIPROII that is hooked up to a HAI Cell adapter (HAI C3).  The cell adapter analog port is hooked to a Nextalarm ABN which routes the calls over the internet.

Currently what happens is all calls go to the C3 which sends them to the ABN.  If that fails, the OMNIPRO redials with a * in front which routes the call thorugh the cell network.  Unfortunately, it doesnt' work great and I want to utilize my existing Asterisk PBX.

My issue is - how do I deal with a failure of the PBX.  There are hardware failover devices like

The FA40 from openvox (google it as I cannot post the link)

these devices connect together the analog port from the source device with the outgoing analog port (i.e. the POTS line/ABN/etc).  Unfortunately, they are a little more complicated than I want.

Are there any devices out there that have 1 analog port that connects to a device, and 2 or more ports that connect to the outside world and allow you to pick the outgoing port based on the dial pattern - i.e. *1+NUMBER = line 1, *2+NUMBER = line 2?

I hope I haven't confused everyone!

M
