Shlage Locks

What is needed to interface the Shlage locks with HAI? If I am currently using UPB, will this be compatible?

At this time, there is no integration. However it is something that is being asked for and looked into.

What Schlage lock are you talking about and what do you want to do? There are other UPB manufactures with various products. What do you want to do?

I am referring to the new locksets. I thought HAI was offering support for them.

Are you referring to the Schlage Link products seen here ?

I do not beleive there are UPB products currently available like the Zwave product shown, but there is problably a way to use a zwave product to work with a UPB product to do what you want. Do you currently have a "central controller" or are you using UPB stand alone?

HAI announced at the ISC-West Security show that it was partnering with Black and Decker to work on integrations with their locks (see the press release at http://www.homeauto.com/newsandevents/pres...BlackDecker.asp and showed a working integration at the show.

However, the integration has not been released to the public and will be released in the coming months (I don't know the expected release timeframe).
