Correct, but Smarthome is also coming out with a coupler that will do both RF and X10.

The RF coupling is for the Insteon protocol only, not for X10 as far as I know.

The SignaLinc RF will only process Insteon signals. It will not process X10 signals. We have received feedback from beta users and others we have spoken to in support of adding it; but we ultimately decided against it for many technical and marketing reasons.
