Some posts got me re thinking my M1TWA set-up

Reading through some posts leave me with a few questions with my M1 set up. Right now I am bench testing and everything is working, but I would like to hear from you guys as to the best way to hook up some items.

I have this set up currently.

M1Gold J7 to M1TWA. Then I also have M1 J-16 going to the M1TWA J16 "in". Then M1TWA J16 "out" going to my M1RB. My MXVOR "J" connector goes to my Elk 124 (C1 ~ C8).
Lastly the MXVOR is wired to my MDBH hub.

Like I said, I am beginning to wonder if my M1TWA could/would be better connected. AS yet I am benching this set up and do not really have outputs being used. Everything is happy, but am I wasting output use with this set up?

How you guys doing it???

Well, there's not a whole lot you can do about the M1TWA - it uses a lot of the outputs itself leaving only 3 of the onboard outputs for anything. If you want to use those, I wouldn't waste an M1RB but instead get 3 relays.

I have my 124 hooked into the onboard outputs because I don't use a TWA; otherwise what you're doing seems to make as much sense as anything. You can't really hook the TWA up to anything else. Your M1RB is kinda wasted though, only getting 3 of the 8 relays usable. The only way to fix that though is with yet another XOVR.

I'd say leave it as is until you need more outputs; at that time, get another XOVR and move the M1RB over to that.
