When installing a surface mounted alarm contact such as a GRI model 100-T does it make a difference in its operation that the wires that will connect to the contact be between the two contact surfaces? The purpose of this installation is to hide the wires. Thoughts?
Thanks for your reply. To make sure I understand your response I'm assuming that "correct" means you should never install the contact where the wires would be between the two opposing contacts but instead the wires should be installed outside the mating contact faces. If so do you know of a way to hide the wire connections on a GRI Model 100-T? Thanks.
