*** System Sensor 2WTAB question with m1g

I have System Sensor 2WTAB w/ RRS-MOD connected to M1G. When testing with smoke in a can,.the 2WTAB went off without triggering the others in loop and sounding the siren. It was beeping locally but did not trigger the rest and also the m1g. There is a 820ohm EOL resistor with eight 2WTAB..
Test another 2WTAB with smoke and it triggered the m1g and rest of the 2WTAB.
What could be the cause? I did have my bath renovated and there was quite a bit dust. May be the sensors need to be cleaned?

Thank you

If it did not trip the M1, then the unit is faulty and needs replacement. If it did trip the M1 but not the other units, then either the RRS or M1's relay trigger would be suspect.

If you had significant construction/demolition and the units were not removed from service or dust covers installed, they would definitely require servicing

Thanks DEL. I am planning to change them out with cosmod 2W and Cosmo 2w sensor. Is there anything I need to know rrs-mod would not be needed.

It would be discretionary as far as how many would be swapped out when installing i4 units. I don't know how many you have installed nor your installation details.

Plan on 3 zones and 2 outputs on the M1 and then some rule writing. I can't remember exactly what the M1 does, but I want to say it generates trouble conditions on the reset or possibly ring portion. I'd have to go through my service laptop's DB to see what I have out there; I haven't synchronized my DB's to my home machine in a while.
