Just to verify, these are both (Linksys and DLink) just "dumb" switches right? IE one isn't DHCP enabled or something like that...
Switches are dumb with no configuration of any kind.

My gut says switch issue and not an M1XEP issue.
Could there be an IP range issue between the Linksys switch and the DLink switch?

I got mine from eBay for less than $20 (including shipping). It uses a 12VDC/1A AC Adapter. It has a slim, steel case that can be wall-mounted.
