Upgrading from Omni IIe to OmniPro II

After a call to HAI tech support I found out my OIIe boards output 8 was no longer working. They gave me an RA # and told me to contact my distributor for a warranty replacement. I spoke with them today and they would be happy to send me a Pro II board at a discounted upgrade rate!

Since I am going from a IIe to a Pro II will I have to redo all my programing or can I just open my file in PCA and write to the controller?

If your IIe was of a recent firmware rev, transferring your programming to an OPII should be fairly painless. You will probably have to re-do at least some of the setup, though. For instance, I think the IIe and OPII do thermostat setup differently. The upgrade is well worth it, though; the OPII will be a more capable controller to start, plus you'll have far more expansion capability.
