Use of 'Key Momentary Arm Stay' with a zone

I'd like to arm the system when I momentarily close/short a zone so that I can use another device that opens/closes a relay to arm the system.
 
If I set up a zone with Definition: Key Momentary Arm Stay and Type Normally Open, would it do this?
