Verizon compatible cellular backup

Is there a CDMA device that I can add to my existing Verizon family plan to dial to a call center for alarm reporting?

I was going to get a C3 and just get a pay as you go sim, but there is almost no 2G where I live. It is all 3G and newer. Thanks.

Uplink CDMA50. I think they used to offer the 4550 as the same CDMA only.

You are not going to find anything that can be added directly to your plan that I know of.

Does this mean that none of the 4G communicators are compatible with VZ either?

Varies by service provider. The limiting factor is going to be a CDMA compatible unit, not whether or not it's 2,3 or 4G (which is only a marketing term buzzword).

As an example, (from memory) Alarmnet and C24 use ATT, but Bosch Connetix uses VZW/Tmobile.
