Where to buy wire in LA/OC - TV wall box - Sound board

I'm building a new house and I'm just finishing up the 120v wiring and need to get all my home automation wiring ordered. Along with the various 2 and 4 conductor wire, cat5e/6, I need high quality mini coax for the video distribution. Anyone know of a good source preferably in Orange County, if not the Los Angeles area, that has it all and at a good price?

Also, I need to get the precise location behind the TV for power and distribution cables box mounted on the studs now for my wall mounted TV's, but I'm not sure where to locate the boxes in relation to the TV's position. It's not a big deal on my larger TV but on some of the small ones their isn't much wiggle room to mount the TV and I don't want the boxes to interfere with the TV wall mount apparatus or be seen. I'll be using those large white plastic boxes that include power and have lots of room for distribution cables. I've never mounted a TV on a wall and am not sure how big the mounts are for small TV's. On a 28" TV, about how far down(?) should I mount the top of the box from the TV centerline?

Lastly, I see Home Depot and Lowes carry a 4'x8' sheet 1/2" thick of sound suppression board that is put on before drywall, it's some kind of soft wood product. Anyone have any experience with it?

When rebuilding the new media room in my home I switched over to using the thinner high quality mini coax for my video. I found a two or three 1-2 foot pieces of this type of coax at Menards but it appeared to have been discontinued. I ended up ordering it online. In the process I redid my video cabling for my 2 LCD's in the Kitchen and one in the laundry room. Much easier stuff to work with than the standard RG6 cables. I ended up purchasing various lengths. I also tried to make it myself and could not. I did find the cabling at allelectronics. On the net it was still expensive. Will look up where and how much I paid for it....

Thanks, I was hoping to avoid the shipping fees and probably having to reorder more than I expected.

Surely there must be a good supplier in the LA basin. Where do the pro's buy their stuff at?
