Which Smoke Detector for use in Indoor Pool Room?

I'm not sure if anyone will be able to help me with this one.  My wife and I acquired a foreclosure which I am in the process of installing an HAI system in.  One of the big selling points for us was an indoor pool and spa room (very rare in Minnesota).  I am trying to determine what I should have for fire detection in the room (smoke, heat, or something else).  Currently it does not have anything in this room.  Although the room has an industrial air exchanger in it, you always will have some degree of chlorine in the air which is very hard on electronics.  As such, I am not sure what I should use for fire detection.  This room accounts for a large portion of the house and I would like to ensure it is protected as well.  Thank you for your help!

Heat detectors, not smoke detectors.

I'd look for outdoor rated units that are designed for threaded conduit bodies/explosionproof applications (typically pre-action fire alarm, deluge/agent release) unless you are content with the recurring service as the detectors age.

The other option could be protectawire or other product, installed per the documents.

Makes sense.  I will explore what options are out there for outdoor rated heat detectors.  Thank you for your help!

If you have a gas pool heater indoors, you should make sure you have CO detectors - especially if the pool access is directly connected to the house.

I do have a gas pool heater and a matching gas heater for the spa.  They are in a pool mechanical room which is located in the pool room attached to the house.  I have CO detectors that will be installed for just such a reason.  Thank you for double checking though.  Another set of eyes on a process is always appreciated!
