I use Homeseer although its a serial connection. (this specific plugin though has not been updated in about 10 years now and only kind of works). Main Lobby also lets you design your own screens and talks to the HAI OPII and Homeseer; think though its still a serial connection. Folks here are also utilizing Haiku and HaikuHelper (bridging the Apple and Wintel world a bit with HaikuHelper).
You can though with the Homeseer touchscreen designer design your own touchscreens which today utilizing the same software runs on an Ipad, Android, Wintel (any flavor) and Linux. All this with a touch screen design tool that runs in MS Windows. I've been pushing the application with testing up to 15 touchscreens. (a variety including Wintel XP, CE, Linux and Android of various sizes).
A week or so back some one sent me a 4.3" $50 USD Android 1.2Ghz mini tablet. I have installed the Homeseer touch client on it and it works just fine. HAI Snaplink mobile would probably run on this little mini tablet just fine (I haven't tried it yet though). House is a sandbox so will probably give this a try next.
