Plugging along, piece by piece. Installing the XEP is next. It all went well (now that I know how to enroll devices ;o)), local network only (for now), except when I got to the virtual keypad (VK).
It sort of works for the limited things I currently have hooked up, but the window in the Java app which I think is supposed to indicate what is in the LCD window on the keypad seems to have problems knowing what state it is in.
For example, right now I started the VK app again, and the window reads "Armed Vacation" but the system is actually disarmed, and I disarmed it right before I last shut the VK down. It seems to show one step behind the actual state, even when I hit the refresh button.
Any ideas?
