Zone designation for CO detector on OP 2

Should these be set up as smoke zones in the OP2?

I'd probably set it up as GAS.
 
Problem is the ambiguous alarm types to both the CS and the siren which is a compliance issue.

Here set it up as gas and thinking I modded the configuration at the CS end relating to sensor.
