Hi, can you tell me if there is another sensor on the market like the ACS712 ? I'm looking for a sensor that can measure up to 2amp. So ACS712 5amp should be a good choice. Any other tries or sensors used with CAi boards?
That has 3A range with 35mOhm resistance. Different from ACS chip, that use 2.5V for 0A, this MAX471 using a sign bit to indicate the current flow direction. There are a lot of ready made modules on eBay using this chip.
