Tried going back to non ssl, gmx mail... Same delay about 40-45seconds
I require instant email alerts, because I trigger the mailbox and doorbell. It really doesn't help if the mailman leaves before the trigger alert. Or doorbell delay..

Was hoping to get some help. Back in October this year, I updated my XEP to the newest firmware that supports SSL and took some effort to get it to send emails , I have the following settings plugged in
However , i realised that it stopped sending mails about a couple days later. I tried the alternate port 567 but no dice. Any suggestions on what may be wrong or where I should look ?
