I discovered that I did not have a good connection to the battery. It was also causing the system to be a little sluggish, or at least looked slow at the keypad display.
Thanks
John
I have a Honeywell 20P that I installed and programed myself. It has 2 expander boards. It has been working flawlessly for at least a year. Suddenly the siren will not go off when the alarm is triggered, it just beeps once. Because of this, the Wireless GSM sender does not send a signal to...
We are all right, at least partially.
On the newer looking 4219, dip switch 7 differentiates between normally closed and EOL. On one of mine, position 7 is not used but must be set to on or it will not work. Both of these are green and look identical except the printing and stickers.
Oddly...
I watched a youtube video "bounder27" I think describing how to install a smaller Altronics power supply for a Vista Alarm board. He suggest that it is necessary for all the 12v power supplies to share a low voltage common for proper voltage.
you should be able to use a standard magnetic contact switch. Since shed doors tend to have some play in them, I would put the switch close to the hinge side so that any incidental movement of the doors will not trigger the alarm.
I have a new 20p with 2 4219 expander boards addressed as 7 (107) and 8 (108) When I open any connection, the panel displays a check 107 fault with no chime or alarm. I suspect that the board is bad.
I set the dip switches according to the instructions. 1 and 8 on and 2-7 to "7" for zones...
I am going to install HS2 on a Raspberry PI 2B. I have read that the AD2USB will work in this configuration. I found this direct mount shield from the same manufacturer AD2PI.
can the AD2PI work on a Raspberry PI 2B that is running HS3?
It seems like a more elegant and reliable solution...
I am also looking for a similar solution.
i want to run Homeseer HS3 on a Raspberry PI 2B with a AD2PI
I believe that the software that comes with the AD2USB and AD2Pi interfaces can control Honeywell relay expansion boards. Some of these boards are designed to be mounted and independently...
I was looking around for some accessories for my Vista 20P panel and see a lot of Intelisense boards and sensors. Are they compatible with Vista?
Specifically the S3201.
I am mainly looking for a zone expander at the moment.
Thanks

Has anyone used a Denkovi ethernet relay board with homeseer?
http://denkovi.com/ethernet-io-relay-module-snmp-web-12-relays
This looks like a good way to expand a home automation system, especially in a remote location.
Has anyone written a Homeseer plugin for this?
Thanks
John
I read up on the HomeGenie The author must be a genius as well as very generous with his talent and time. I am addicted to my iphone, and Homegenie doesn't seem to have a IOS app yet.
One of the things that is holding me back is that the Homeseer ADIO interface looks like 1980s technology...
You have probably checked all of your ground connections, but you might double check. Unlike A/C current, D/C current is very sensitive to dirty or corroded connections. just a little rust can create a lot of resistance.
