runnig windows xp, i have 1-wire temp/humidity board , usb adapter, and adapter cable from hobby boards. Weather display wd1 software doesn't see 1-wire device.
do i have to install device drivers? how do i get rom id?

I used the iButton viewer to get the ROM ID's. You should see the ROM ID's in the one-wire setup screen in the right text box if everything is wired up properly.

it's been a while since I had to seutp my weather system, but arent' there TMEX drivers that are needed to install?

yes i installed the drivers and it works with wserver software but not with weather display software.

In WD did you set the proper port (USB) in the contol panel > Com Port screen in WD?
