I blew up the outdoor module picture and it says in red on the module:


"Plug in lamps only

Max 500W

Do not plug in hazardous devices

NO APPLIANCES"

I'll take my chances on the device getting dimmed. In all my years of using X10 I have yet to see an erroneous dim sent to a single controller. I have see a few erroneous offs and ons but never a dim. Couple this with defining the device as an appliance module and then you can't accidentally send a dim from the GUI and I'm covered.
