Adjusting the Temp sensor in Elk Keypad

Hi, I know I read something that explained how to adjust the temp. reading of an Elk keypad, But I can't find it. I have gone through the manual, but still can't find it. My problem is, The Elk is reading 5-7 Deg. higher that another sensor 3 feet away. I would like to adjust it down. Does anybody know how to adjust this??

Any help would be great

Thanks
Mike ;)

I used the manual's instructions to adjust a keypad's temperature reading. All was fine until recently when it would occasionally display readings higher than the true ambient temperature. Why? The keypad is located on a wall that contains a heating duct. Whenever the furnace is operating, the wall's surface temperature rises and the keypad is fooled.

I would have preferred to install the keypad on another wall but it was overruled by aesthetics and proximity to the front door. Naturally, I don't rely on that keypad's temperature readings whenever the furnace is on.

BTW, the thermostat used to be located on the same wall! Can you say "short-cycling"? Yeah, I moved it elsewhere.
