I just wanted to note that after getting a M1KP2 with the recessed option, I think it looks great (and it passed WAF scrutiny as well). I would have had more trouble with the older one (which will be used in the basement in my case).
I am still going back and forth on prox reader / caddx keyfobs but the look is clean. Per previous squeaks it would be nice to have temperature sensors as well...
