Alarm Announcements/Alarm sync issues

Hi,

I've got a current OmniPro II with the latest firmware and the voice module.

I enabled "Alarm Announcements" (or whatever it is actually called) and noticed that during a fire alarm condition the voice announcements and the alarm don't seem to be kept "in sync". It seems like they are trying to alternate the announcement and the alarm but something is not quite right.

The alarm should sound in "groups" of 3 but sometimes I get 2, sometimes 1.

As far as the voice goes usually the announcement is complete but sometimes the announcement is cut off.

Anyone else noticed this?

I think a firmware update is going to be needed.

Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.

Just a thought... Does the sync issue occur when the panel dials out via telephone line (if you have voice dial enabled)? The omni has only one voice, so when it dials out to voice the alert via the phone I think you will lose voice announcements during that time. I dont have an hai panel (yet), but from what I understand, that's how it works.
