Getting ready to install recessed lighting in my new home (new construction). I am going to be wiring for future ALC controls with cat5 going to each switch location. I am thinking about using low voltage recessed lighting but I read one of the manufacturers spec sheet that stated "May be dimmed using dimmers specifically designed for low voltage magnetic transformers". Anyone know if ALC dimmers are designed to work with low voltage lighting? I'd hate to wire for ALC only to find out my recessed cans won't work with it.
