Chuck,

Here's the tweaked version of the Ambient Virtual WeatherStation module with support for MiniBrowser V2. I tested it with the sample data that is included in the full Module package and xBrowser displayed the Rain Gauge, Temperature Sensor, Anemometer, etc. Let me know if it works for you.

BTW
This is the first time I experimented with the Ambient VWS module and it did not work 'out-of-the-box'. It took me awhile to figure out how to get the Weather Station devices to appear and how to bind the individual weather objects. However, once configured, it displays some nice graphics.

great...I was going to PM you..I finally figured out the secret sauce and got the devices to appear in the MBV2. I'll take a look and see if I got close to a professional solution :D

I have never gotten the Weatherstation devices to appear without restarting the builder. Not exactly sure why...I think Rob had mentioned it in his readme..

Thanks for the solution...

123, You must have used the original WeatherStation Module to do the tweaks? One of the 'bugs' I had fixed was in gCreateDevices in GlobalScripts. For whatever reason, the first line WSCreateDeviceFolder() is/was commented out..,Not sure if anyone else uses this; if so, uncomment it and you're off to the races...

Yeah, I probably downloaded it from the old forum (can't recall; I have modules all over the place ...). I had uncommented that command as well in order to make it work. Whenever you have the time, please take a moment to update the VWS module in Downloads with the latest version (with support for Minibrowser V2). I'd do it myself but the forum only allows the original author to modify a Download post.

...and I thought I was the only one who had a gazillion modules around :)

Rob did a heck of a job on the VWS, but as you discovered, what a pain to set-up! Definitely 'not out of the box'!
...needing to understand VWS to understand the module is challenging...

I'll put it up later this week.

I think since I first posted this browser version, we had a major change in the minibrowser - namely, no longer iphone, but now mb. As I'm building a new installation of Premise at my new place, I see this one needs updating, which I'll do as I find the bugs. In this one, the naming convention has to change; it has to be identified as a valid class for the mb to pick it up, and so forth.

Stay tuned.
