Anyone still using ElkM1::Control to interact with ELK-M1

There is an old posting on how to use an API ElkM1::Control to interact with ELK m1. I have posted the link of this thread below. If anyone out there is still using this program, please can you help with installing. I am trying to write a script for URC total control to communicate with ELK via this API but I need to talk to someone who is currently using it and fully understand how it works before writing the script. All help are welcome.

I use it for some experimentation although I am no fan of the language.  However, it is the only more or less open, complete and easy to use  Elk API that I am aware of.
