Automation studio wont start after updated to latest version

Automation studio wont start after I update the software to the latest version. I think it was 1.0.3.6

I have reinstalled automation studio several times, and reinstalled java. 1.0.0.1 works just fine.

After updating, when I run the software the loading dialogue appears. It gets as far as "loading IR library" then the program appears on my tool bar as if it is open, but when I click on the icon to maximize automation studio it simply does nothing.

has anyone run into this problem?

okay, right after i posted this I found the solution.

If automation studio starts minimized, you have to hover over the icon until the preview tab pops up, then right click on the preview, then click "maximize"
