I am trying to utilize the Aux 1 24 hr or Water Alarm zone type to monitor several NO water sensors that are connected on one zone loop, with an EOL resistor. I am using rules to have the panel call my cell phone on an alarm. I am using the Water Alarm output to fire my rule. I want to avoid using a rule with the zone as secure or not secure so that I can get the swinger function so as to avoid numerous calls on a single instance of water.
Is there a way to get a trouble on an open? I get an alarm whether I short the loop, or open the loop. Ideally, I would like this zone (and others that I have) to activate a trouble on an open and an alarm on short just like a Fire zone.
