Best way to mount Leviton enclosure

Recently I have an HAI system installed, but there are some wires exposed and the power supply is outside of the HAI can. Would like to get another enclosure to hide all power warts as well as all other distributions such as sat, cable, phone together.

I don't plan on getting the specific modules from Leviton, just thinking of screwing whatever I have through the can to the back. I suppose in this case, I need to mount a board behind the can to the insulation?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

you can use wood... i actually have just used very shallow sheet metal screws i the cases i needed them (dirlling a pilot hole first)

Elk also makes two types of plates that work in the leviton cans. I use both (see my showcase for picks)

good luck

Got a 28" Leviton can from Home Depot, got it installed and I'm just using cable ties and they seem to be very scure. I use the tie between holes, works well. Much neater than how I had before.

Still I'd like to get rid of the powerbar by the panel, will work on that later. May need to bring in an electrican though as I don't want to mess around with electrical.
