Caddx 548E wireless with Elk M1EZ8 not sending data?

I have installed an Elk M1EZ8 with my old Caddx 548E.
I have the firmware downgraded for the Caddx.

I can see the RF green light on the caddx light up when I trip a wireless sensor.
But I never see the Data light.

And I am not getting any response from my M1 either... so there is something wrong.
I did check the green data wire to the M1 and it is fine..

Any suggestions?

I had a bad wire.
All fixed and it works now.
