I installed a Caddx NX-8 panel a while ago and have not yet connected it to a monitoring service, but I plan on doing that in the near future.
I am also planning on moving our phone service over to my Cable provider.
I asked if their phone service is compatible with alarm systems and he stated that as long as it had a "digital panel" ?? installed I would be ok.
He said the phone service would be digital which I assume means VOIP.
What options do I have for connecting this to an alarm monitoring company? Perhaps the answer to this depends in the alarm company?
Any insight would be appreciated.
