Cannot Access my Elk web server M1EXP

Sorry if this topic has already been discussed, I was unable to find this particular problem in the database.

I have an Elk M1 (5.2.8) with an M1XEP Ethernet interface.  I have been using it since 2009 with very few problems, I very pleased with it, I rarely have to do any maintenance, it just works. I've always been able to simply login to the web server with my PC using a wired network.  I haven't been able to do so for some time. I can connect fine with ELKRP2.

I can hit the M1Xep with both Chrome and IE, but in both cases I get a Java error.

I get the "please wait establishing secure connection" and then a java security warning prompt to either "block" or "don't block".  Regardless of the selection I am never able to get in. "Error, click for details".

So I had a go with this and it didn't work, but you did help me after all.  All along I thought it was the web server in the M1XEP, so I was dismissing the fact it was PC software causing my problem.  I tried my neighbours laptop and I was able to get into the interface.  I really need to learn more about Java.

Thanks!

On that note, I haven't seen an update for the M1XEP for some time now, does anyone know if ELK is working on a newer version or even a new firmware update?
