Cellular monitoring

Pretty easy question, your input would be appreciated!

I have not found cellular to be all that reliable for voice communications... I can't see it being a primary connection for monitoring. Probably best suited as a backup.

not sure I would do away with "everything" as I assume I would have VOIP or broadband as another connection method.

I'll side with Wayne on this one. Cell plus VOIP.
I tossed the PSTN 8 months ago.

Since you are going to have a phone anyway, there is no reason to not go with both. Plus wired is always better than wireless, but combined it works great.

i have my land line forwarded to my cell already ... so if the opportunity arises ... YES!
