Console Keypad Issues

Well, this has been bugging my wife for a while so now it is a problem for me There are a few keys on the console that don't seem to illuminate like the others. When I did the console mod to keep the LCD on I took it apart a bit and confirmed all the LEDs are lit properly and everything is seated properly. My only thought was perhaps it had something to do with the actually plastic/rubber molded keys or something. Anyone ever see an issue like this? Pics were taken with phone so they are not great but you can see the difference in the 9, # and Up arrow keys both in the light and dark.

I had the same issue with the OPII I set up in FL. Interesting too is one keypad is mounted on a wall with the same finish (texture) and similiar in color (but one color looks the same as another to me).

I couldn't figure out why when I tested with the cover off all of the LED's worked fine.

I found out the LED's would dim gradually over a few minutes and then stay dimmer than the other ones for the keypad.

Try powering it up without the keypad cover and just watch the LEDs to see if they dim over time.
