Hello,
This is a 2 part question.
Is it possible to program an elk zone to show as tripped/violated via rules even if mechanically its not?
If not, this is my preconceived workaround; I know we can control outputs with the elk to trigger for a specified amount of time, is it possible to wire an output from the right side of the main panel back into a zone on the left for a controllable state zone?
Here is a real world application
I'm using the elk doorbell detector and Vera3 to monitor / automate a scene when the doorbell is pressed.
The problem is a very quick press of the doorbell will sneak past the Vera unless its held for a few milliseconds longer... my suggestion above would trigger the output for a set duration to ensure its caught.
Is this possible to do? Suggestions are welcome if there is a totally different way to go about this scenario also.
Thanks!
