Not sure of the quality of this product, but $700 discount is a pretty big chunk of change to save!

It's a good price if you really want that specific system (i.e., BJs.com wants $559 for it), but IMO, it isn't worth more anyways. The cameras are very low resolution (420 lines), it doesn't use H.264 for storing the video, and the recording resolution in the specs is rather odd: Max 640 x 224.

Maybe an acceptable starter system, but if want to be able to identify objects/people, especially at night, I would skip this one. All IMO of course
