I have a feature suggestion that HAI should (easily) be able to add to HAI controllers:
Right now whenever the controller's configuration is changed, the interfaces do not instantly know this and cannot respond. Some interfaces even require a manual refresh to "catch up" with the updated controller configuration (ie. new Unit names, etc.).
So my suggestion is to add a field to the system status that includes an integer that counts up +1 every time the controller's configuration is altered in any way using PC Access or any other tool. It could just flip over to 0 after say 255 for example.
This will allow interfaces to query this value and update all configuration and names if needed.
Another useful feature would be a notification for this value upon changes for interfaces that are already connected.
