Does the smartlinc allow you to have a set schedule with the need to have a computer running or a isy99?

It does, yes. It's pretty basic in scheduling - one on/off time per scene I believe. But you can program it and let it run without needing a computer running. The ISY99i is a big time favourite here for INSTEON users particularly if you have more than a few lights, scenes or wish to do any type of conditional logic or INSTEON configuration with it.

It only lets a set time everyday? Are you able to have it change by day of week?

I see the love here for the ISY99, but I am trying to figure out the cheapest (the ISY99 is $299) way of having a daily schedule without needing to have a pc running the entire time.
