Does the vera2 receive updates when a insteon device is toggled locally?

I read in old posts that the vera2 does not get updates when a insteon device is toggled locally. Has that issue been fixed? I see a new thread about the x10 devices but not insteon.

From the answer I got on the vera forum it seems like no insteon can update, however from here it looks like they do. So is this an issue with vera or is it an insteon issue?
