Door eye camera mounting

I keep seeing the Door Eye Cameras for sale, but cannot figure out how to use it without unsightly wiring. In essence, these cameras would replace my front door peephole with a video camera that could then be used to transmit the image to all TVs. My perception is that it would be difficult to provide power, and feed the video cable from the camera. I've thought about a door-hinge product that might carry the required cables, but don't know of any that exist.....

Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions?

Here are powered door hinges. There are also these and these and these. There are also recessed contacts with exposed 'buttons' that touch each other when the door is closed. The hardest part I always imagined is drilling a channel from the peephole to the edge in a solid core door.

And, welcome to CocoonTech!
