Elk Firmware 5.2.2

I am running the latest version of ElkRP 2.0.16 and trying to update the Elk M1G firmware from 5.2.2 to 5.2.10. I'm getting an error message that: "This is a newer firmware that ElkRP does not recognize"

I'm always nervous about firmware updates. Can anyone confirm if this is normal?
