For anyone that might be interested, Elk posted some firmware updates on their website yesterday.

If you don't have any wireless receivers, is there a preffered firmware to use.
Here's the choices:

Firmware Update 4.4.12 supports a GE (Caddx) Wireless Receiver.

Firmware Update 5.0.12 supports the new ELKM1XRF2G Wireless Receiver.

I already had some of these namely elk firmware 5.0.12...

Other than elkRP (.18 -> .22) Seems like some were just dummy bumps with no real version changes?

Software enhancements and issues resolved since release 1.6.18:

5. Added ability to import lighting data from Clipsal C-Bus Toolkit project files, UPB UPStart export files and Universal
Devices ISY export files for Insteon networks.

Any possibility that this reads the definitions of the links as well, and can therefore update individual load status based on link activation?

I do not have any wireless receivers but I went with the version 5.0.12 thinking that if I were to decide to use wireless sensors that I would most likely buy the Elk wireless receiver.

Some of the recent changes with ElkRP are to make it play nice with Windows Vista. That is the main thing I was waiting on. I installed it last night but have not done much with it yet.
