need someone to install elk system in residence in LA. replaces an adt system. all wiring is done. its a switchout of the box and program, add some features and integrate with home automation. Been looking. Thanks

Call Elk, to find a list of local distributors.

Then, call the distributors for installer recs.

If you want to fiddle with the Elk indefinitely, making intermittent changes and adding devices, you should consider installing it yourself. It would be a good learning experience.

thanks yes i did that and i got a recommendation i will tinker after a pro sets it up for me....

Some pro's won't let you tinker afterwards (won't give you the installer code, etc.), so make sure you will be allowed to do this.
