Elk M1 Web Interface seems to crash

Great site,  reading the posts here convinced me to go for the Elk M1 Gold setup.
Most everything is good,  but have a problem.  I can access my home system remotely using the Java interface.  But after a while it stops working.
To get it working again, I need to connect via Elk-RP and reboot the M1XEP, then it works fine for a couple of days. After that it drops out.
Call Alarm Relay to put the system in test,  connect via RP Reboot and it is up again.
Very strange.
PS.  The main reason for using this interface is to check the temperature probe I installed before leaving.  It's finally cold in the NE and would like to easily keep an eye on the temp. side question is there a way to write a rule to email me the current temperature every night at 3AM??
System info M1 Golg, M1XEP, connected to a linksys router on Comcast.

Do you have DNS set up? Does this all occur on the same machine?

You will not be able to email actual temps as the email messages are "canned" in the XEP setup.

I do have dns set up and know it works since I can get to the elk from Elk RP with no trouble. Rebooted last night, Just checked this AM still working but who knows for how long. Not sure what you mean by same machine, Same M1EXP, but when it is down I have tried multiple computers to access it.
I also know that although DNS is setup and Comcast uses DHCP. the IP Address has not changed in the last 30 days.

Thanks,
I thought that might be the case with the temp and rules. Oh well.
I supposed I could write a few rules eg temp below 55 then one for temp below 50 .....

Why would you want to manually monitor it all the time? I just put a rule in that says if my temp drops below 45F, then email me that there's a temp problem.

I wrote in another post that Im having the same problem. I can telnet to port 80, connect with RP and droid client, but the web interface always says page not found. I need to do a hard reboot to get it to work
