Elk M1 Zwave M1XZW help

I have been fighting getting this lighting to work off and on for 2 years with no avail. I have the M1XZW registered with the elk. I program just 1 dimmer switch into the Intermatic HA-07. Then sync the two, but I cannot turn on the light with the elk. What am I missing here? Is there an easier master controller to work with.

I am only looking to set up a couple motion sensed lights and my closet door lights with this. My wife is starting to hound me about why this is not working...oops

Any ideas? I just hooked up my Elk M1 to the ethernet so I can control it from our phones. Now just have to get my lights working/

Anyone have any luck with this M1ZXW or should I go switch to the RZCOP to control the lighting.

I figure sooner or later someone might be able to tell me what I'm doing wrong.
Well using the HA07 controller I now have my 1 zwave dimmer switch assigned to bother the channel 1 and channel 2. I get full on/off with either button. I replicated the controller to the M1XZW and got a "successful " on the HA07.

I made a rule to turn on A1 light to 100% and clicked test rule and the M1XZW blinked like it was sending the command. BUT the light does not turn on. I even tried A2,G1,G2 and no workie

Any ideas yet

On a good note. I did open and close my garage door with my iPhone.
