ELK M1EXP Ethernet - Can it be powered off VAUX power on M1?

Can the Ethernet module be powered off the VAUX plugs on the M1. It appears the max allowed draw is 1.25 amps.

160 ma keypad #1 in alarm state
160 ma keypad #2 in alarm state
70 ma m1rf wireless module
300 ma m1xp
-------------------------------

690 ma total

I am thinking that the easyiest way to secure the m1xp is to keep the power inside the unit

You have no other devices powered by the main Elk transformer - PIR, Glass Breaks, Interior/Exterior Sirens, Smokes, Input/Output Expanders??? As long as you stay withing the current limits in full alarm mode then you should be ok, but typically I recommend a second power supply to power stuff like this. Also consider that will drain your battery much faster in a power fail situation.
