I know that you can adjust the Beep Tone and Beep Volume and Backlight can be adjusted but if the screen is inactive for a period of time can you set it to go totally blank? Thinking about adding one in the master bedroom but I am worried that if the screen does not go dark after a period of inactivity that the screen light will be to bright even at a low setting for the bedroom at night?

Yea, you can set it to go dark.

Enable the option to turn off lights after 60 seconds in RP. I don't recall the exact verbiage, but it does say 60 seconds.

I've got one in my MBR and have that feature enabled to prevent too much light in the room at night.

Make sure you have the latest firmware for all the new dimming/home screen features.
